Sabiha Gökçen Among Europe’s Top Airports

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport achieved remarkable success according to ACI Europe’s March 2025 Air Traffic Report. In the “Major Airports” category serving over 40 million passengers, it recorded the highest passenger growth in Europe for March with a 9.6% increase.

In the first quarter of 2025 (January–March), Sabiha Gökçen saw a 9% rise in passenger numbers compared to the same period last year, ranking as the second fastest-growing airport in Europe. In terms of total passengers, it placed 8th across the continent.

The airport management credited this achievement to the support of both passengers and staff, expressing gratitude to all guests.
